Prep School Library: Faculty Resources

This guide contains resources for PS students including database links, tutorials, book recommendations and more!

The Prep School Library has a great variety of resources for faculty! We are always looking for new subscriptions, databases and books to add to our collection, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any kind of request. Feel free to stop by during school hours or email sfriedlander@cgps.org.

Let's Collaborate!

Class visits are very welcome in the library! If your class is working on a research project, feel free to bring your students down to the library.  I am also available and excited to visit your class to reach one-off lessons on research, information literacy and citations.  Please email me at sfriedlander@cgps.org to set up a visit.

If you would like your students to receive one-on-one research help, email me or send them down during school hours.

SWANK just isn't cutting it? Try Classroom Video On Demand, which has thousands of hours of TV shows, video shorts, documentaries and more.  CVOD has videos produced by great studios like HBO and PBS. If you're looking for a Ken Burns documentary or a short introductory video, CVOD is a great option.

We also have a selection of DVDs in the library, as well as DVD drives and adapters available to borrow. I am happy to purchase a new DVD just for you!
